     Becoming a member of your local museum is easy! Your membership contribution allows the Board of Directors to share the museum with visitors, create new exhibits, and maintain and improve our greatest artifact--our building! The Hotel Claiborne was built in 1890 and houses the vast and varied historical collection that was begun by Mr. Herbert S. Ford when he returned from World War I in 1918. Our collection reflects the history of Claiborne Parish and its surrounding parishes.
